I did a Gorilla Trekking in Rwanda in April 2025. It was the wet season however it didn’t rain for 1 week prior to my arrival. I was lucky that the trekking was not too hard. I flied into the City of Kigali and did a day trekking to the Volcano National Park. The tour operator I used was the Trail Trek Africa. They pick me up at 4:30am. By 8am, we were briefed by the national park staff. The trekking was 45min from the parking lot before we heard gorillas. We spent 1 hour with the gorilla family before we headed back. We had a lunch before back the hotel in the city.
